This was, originally posted as a page but I've copy/pasted it here and deleted the page. Pages are public and this is internal club business.

---------------------------

Given the recent updates to the public health measures, in Ontario, meant to control the spread of COVID-19, National has decided to update our own guidance (last issued in April)

Until October 15th (or until otherwise advised if the situation changes before that), no club-sponsored events or gatherings are to occur which do not comply with the aformentioned public health measures. This means no indoor gatherings of more than 10 people and no outdoor gatherings of more than 25 (YOU CANNOT COMBINE BOTH FOR 35), unless they are staffed events as per the provincial regulations. Inter-charter visits may continue and the application of safety measures at club events, such as the donning of PPE and social distancing, remain the responsibility of individual charters, if warranted.

In Kingston, Police have been given right of entry to enter any premises and issue fines on the spot if they believe there is an infraction. (Not sure if it would stand a legal challenge but would open the door to allowing police to secure information for further investigations.)

Therefore, it will be the responsibility of Chapter SAAs to ensure their clubhouse follows this directive to ensure our premises stay secure.
